June 6th is Memorial Day in the Republic of Korea. However, it is not a Memorial Day just for the Republic of Korea alone. I think it is a day to commemorate all those who shed blood on this land before the Republic of Korea was established and sacrificed so that we would not lose our identity today.
The Republic of Korea, the Korean Empire, JoSeon, GoRyeo, GoGuRyeo, BaegJe, SinRa, GoJoSeon... all the martyrs we can remember as our ancestors, our fathers, mothers, my fellow comrades including me, and our brothers, sisters, and our children who are still working hard for national defense, are the sacrifices that have been enabling us to be who we are today.
Thank you for your hard work. And thank you.
That is why I will cheer up and live happily and joyfully.

I operated "ÇÑÄ®HanKar's Martial Arts Class" during my service, and edited and shared those photos as educational materials. |
